Terms and Conditions

1. Pre-contractual information

In compliance with Spanish Law 34/2002 on Information Society Services (LSSICE) and the Consolidated Text of the General Law for the Protection of Consumers and Users (TRLGDCU), as well as with the UK Electronic Commerce (EC Directive) Regulations 2002, the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 and the Consumer Rights Act 2015, and with the French Law for Confidence in the Digital Economy (LCEN, 2004), the Code civil (articles 1125–1127-6) and the Code de la consommation (originally transposing EU Directive 2000/31/EC on electronic commerce), the User is hereby informed of the following before entering into a contract:

  • Identity of the service provider: The companies listed at the beginning of the Legal Notice. Please note that the App and WebApp of the HONEST GREENS Websites is operated by several restaurants listed therein and for Users with varying origins or addresses.
  • Contact: hello@hg.uk.
  • Available languages: Spanish, Catalan, French, Portuguese, and English.
  • Steps to place an order: product selection > confirmation of details > order review > payment > electronic confirmation.
  • The electronic contract will be archived and available to the User in their account on the HONEST GREENS Websites App or WebApp detailed in the Legal Notice.
  • Before confirming the order, the User may identify and correct any errors.
2. Purpose of the contract

These Terms and Conditions govern the contractual relationship between the User and HONEST GREENS and/or the company that owns the HONEST GREENS restaurant where the purchase is made. Whether for consumption on the premises (specifically, to place advance orders for products to eat on the premises or to place additional orders from the table without having to get up and queue at the general order counter), to order products to take away or for home delivery within the delivery area, including office delivery services (Honest Base services), through which the User can place an order to be prepared immediately or order for later, choosing the preferred time, and also offer other complementary services related to the main purpose of Honest Greens, such as the loyalty programme, gift cards, credit and rewards services, and shop or catering services (hereinafter, the "Service").

The purpose of the Service is to provide a simple and convenient system for Users to place orders according to their needs and preferences at any given time.

The Websites, App and WebApp are managed by HONEST GREENS BARCELONA S.A.U.

3. Registration and User account

The User must provide accurate, up-to-date and complete information. The password is personal and non-transferable. The User shall be responsible for any misuse of their account. The Websites, App and WebApp allow registration using their own forms or third-party credentials (Google and Apple).

The User declares that they have sufficient legal capacity to subscribe to these Terms and Conditions personally and/or, where applicable, on behalf of any company or legal entity, having sufficient authority to bind it to these Terms and Conditions.

Once the registration form has been completed, an access code will be sent via SMS for security purposes, completing the registration process with a confirmation email. HONEST GREENS and the corresponding HONEST GREENS company reserve the right to delay registration until the User's eligibility has been confirmed. To this end, the User must read and accept the Legal Texts (i.e. the Legal Notice, these Terms and Conditions, the Privacy Policy, and the Cookies Policy in relation to the processing of personal data and for access to the Websites, App and WebApp and use of its Services.

Users who are customers of Honest's business services shall send HONEST GREENS an email with the details of their employees/beneficiaries for the purposes of applying the agreed specific conditions. In the case of employees/beneficiaries who are already registered in the App as Users, their account will be automatically linked and these conditions will be applied automatically. In the case of employees who do not have an active account, they will be sent an invitation via email to register and link to the Honest Base service in order to apply the conditions agreed with their company to orders placed through the App and WebApp of the HONEST GREENS Websites.

4. Placing orders

Users may place orders for consumption in the restaurant, collection for takeaway, home delivery or Honest Base / Catering services. Before confirming the purchase, the App and WebApp of the Websites will show the final total price with all taxes and charges broken down.

No order shall be deemed finalized until it is confirmed electronically by the App or WebApp.

The Services for placing orders will always be those indicated in the App and WebApp of the HONEST GREENS Websites and, in any case, subject to the opening hours of the restaurants. However, some Services may be limited, for example, depending on the geographical area of home delivery orders, the hours applicable to certain services, or technical tasks related to the maintenance and availability of technological services. If the User attempts to place a home delivery order outside the delivery area or outside the business hours of the HONEST GREENS restaurant, or if for any reason the App is unavailable, these restrictions, limitations or any circumstantial changes to the conditions applicable to the Services will be notified through notices in the App and WebApp.

The options when placing an order are as follows:

4.1 Eat in the restaurant

Users can place orders directly from the App using their mobile phone. Payment is made directly from the App, so the User only has to wait in line or at the table to be served.

There are two different possibilities:

4.1.1 Advance order:

Users can choose their preferred products and place their order from the home page of the App and WebApp on the Websites using their mobile phone, even before arriving at the selected HONEST GREENS restaurant. Before payment and confirmation, Users must check the details and the order placed. At this stage, it is still possible to make changes to the order and choose the time of preparation. Once the order has been completed, the User shall confirm it and make payment via the Websites, App and WebApp.

Once payment has been made, the User will receive a confirmation message with a QR code and the cost of the purchase, as well as a summary of the order placed.

The User may contact the specific HONEST GREENS restaurant through the "SUPPORT" section, which will open a chat so that the User can communicate easily.

Once the User has arrived at the HONEST GREENS restaurant selected for the order, they simply need to go to the counter, show the QR code for the order and collect the drinks and table locator, sit at the table and wait to be served.

4.1.2 Ordering extras at the User's table:

In addition, the User can place extra orders by scanning the table locator (QR code) and restarting the purchase process.

The extra order will be served in a few minutes without having to contact the waiter or wait in the order queue. All you have to do is wait to be served.

Likewise, a section has been enabled within the App and WebApp of the Websites, where Users can rate the service they have received from the staff of the HONEST GREENS restaurant in particular. The section can be accessed from the App's home page. This will allow the User to rate the service received and send comments about each member of the service and waiting staff at the HONEST GREENS restaurant.

4.2 Eating outside the restaurant

Users can place their orders through the App wherever they want, whether it is for collection at the HONEST GREENS restaurant, home delivery or the Honest Base service for the office.

There are two different options:

4.2.1 Takeaway:

Users can place an order from wherever they want, without having to wait in line to do so.

Users can choose their desired products and place their order for takeaway from the home page of the application (App and/or WebApp on the HONEST GREENS Websites) using their mobile phone.

Once completed, a summary of the order will be displayed along with the corresponding prices. At this point, the User can modify the order, choose the time of delivery, and select the restaurant for the order before confirming the purchase and proceeding to the payment gateway.

Once payment has been made, the User will receive a confirmation message with an order code and the cost of the purchase, as well as a summary of the order placed.

Once the order is complete, the User may contact the specific HONEST GREENS restaurant through the "SUPPORT" section, which will enable a chat so that the User can easily communicate.

When it is time to collect the order, the User simply has to show the order code sent to the Websites, App or WebApp at the counter and the order will be handed over for collection.

4.2.2 Home delivery:

The User may choose their preferred products and place an order from the home page of the application (App or WebApp of the Websites) using their mobile phone, check the order details, enter the delivery address and select the preferred time to receive the order.

Once completed, a summary of the order will be displayed along with the corresponding prices. At this point, the User may modify the order, choose the time of receipt of the Service, as well as the restaurant chosen for the order before confirming the purchase and proceeding to the payment gateway.

Once payment has been made, the User will receive a confirmation message with an order code and the cost of the purchase, as well as a summary of the order placed.

Once the order is complete, the User may contact the specific HONEST GREENS restaurant through the "SUPPORT" section, which will enable a chat so that the User can easily communicate.

Likewise, the User will be able to track the delivery using the "ORDER TRACKING" option, which will allow them to contact the assigned delivery person and see at a glance the time and distance remaining for delivery.

Users may also purchase other products from the HONEST GREENS store, including food products such as our breads, beverages, or other items not on the restaurant menu, as well as merchandising products or any other products published on the Websites, App or WebApp at any time, following the usual purchasing procedure. Despite our efforts to meet the delivery times detailed in the HONEST GREENS store, these are for guidance only.

4.3 Honest Base Service:

HONEST GREENS and HONEST GREENS companies offer B2B services to companies and professionals for placing orders and delivery to their offices. The company or professional client of the HonestBase service provides HONEST GREENS with a list of their employees' email addresses, which are entered into the system. This allows Users to link their User account to the company they work for, enabling them to place scheduled orders for their employees under the specific conditions agreed between the company and HONEST GREENS and/or the corresponding HONEST GREENS company. In cases where the employee is not previously registered on the Websites, App or WebApp, HONEST GREENS will send an invitation email to download and register as a User of the Websites, App and WebApp, automatically linking their account to the Honest Base service so that they can enjoy the relevant benefits. The procedure for placing and delivering the order is the same as for the home delivery service, with the specific conditions agreed in each case by HONEST GREENS and/or the HONEST GREENS company and the company or professional client of the Honest Base services, such as the times established for placing orders, regular orders (if applicable) or other conditions agreed for the personalisation and efficiency of the service.

4.4 Catering Service:

HONEST GREENS and HONEST GREENS companies offer B2C and B2B delivery services for events and meetings, including food, beverages and utensils. Orders are placed by creating an account on the Websites, App and WebApp and accessing the Honest Catering section. Information such as postcode, number of people, date, time, address and type of pack must be entered. Deliveries are made within 1-hour time slots, subject to possible adjustments.

Modifications or cancellations are governed by the policy explained below:

4.4.1 Catering Cancellation Policy:
4.4.1.1 Small Catering Orders (€500 or less for the catering served in Spain and France; £500 for the catering served in the United Kingdom):
  • Free Cancellation: Up to 48 hours before the scheduled delivery or event.
  • Partial Refund: Cancellations made between 24 and 48 hours before the event will incur a charge of 25% of the total order value.
  • No Refund: Cancellations made less than 24 hours in advance are non-refundable due to preparation costs.
4.4.1.2 Large Catering Orders (Over €500 for the catering served in Spain and France; over £500 for the catering served in the United Kingdom):

Free Cancellation: Up to 72 hours before the scheduled delivery or event.

Partial Refunds:

  • 75% refund for cancellations made between 48 and 72 hours before the event.
  • 50% refund for cancellations made between 24 and 48 hours before the event.

No Refund: Cancellations made less than 24 hours in advance are non-refundable.

4.4.2 Rescheduling Policy

At this time, it is not possible to reschedule orders. However, you can contact partnerships@honestgreens.com and our team will do their best to assist you.

5. Prices, currency and payment methods
  • All prices include taxes.
  • Any additional costs (delivery, packaging, etc.) will be clearly shown and itemised before confirmation.
  • Currency and prices: Prices are displayed and charged in the currency of the country where the relevant HONEST GREENS restaurant or entity is located (EUR -€- in Spain and France; GBP -£- in the United Kingdom), inclusive of applicable taxes and charges.
  • Any conversion into another currency shown in the App or WebApp is for information purposes only, and the amount ultimately charged may differ depending on the exchange rate and fees applied by the User’s payment provider.
  • For orders placed through third-party platforms (such as Uber Eats, Glovo, or similar), the prices and currency displayed by those platforms shall apply.
  • Payment is made by credit/debit card through Adyen or other enabled means that comply with PSD2 regulations. HONEST GREENS and HONEST GREENS companies reserve the right to change their payment and billing methods at any time.
  • HONEST GREENS and HONEST GREENS companies do not directly store card details; this is handled by the secure payment processor.
  • Product prices are detailed in the App for each product and associated Service, including applicable taxes. However, HONEST GREENS companies reserve the right to modify the price of their products, as well as any shipping and packaging costs, as shown in the App at any given time, with those shown in the App at the time of order confirmation by the User being applicable. Price changes will not affect existing orders that have been confirmed or are being placed at the time of the price change, nor will they affect items already selected in the User's basket, unless there has been a clear error in the price. If there is an obvious error in the price, the company that owns the HONEST GREENS restaurant where the order is placed will notify the User as soon as possible and the User will have the option to confirm the order at the correct price or cancel it at no cost with a full refund of any amount already paid, which will be returned to the User in the App as credit for future purchases at HONEST GREENS restaurants.
  • HONEST GREENS reserves the right to refuse any order for any reason when there is an error in the price and/or other information about the food, beverages or goods ordered; the billing, payment and/or delivery information is insufficient or inaccurate; there is suspicion that an order has been placed using stolen payment card information, appears to be related to fraud or is related to a previous payment dispute; or the product ordered is unavailable due to a disruption or otherwise.
  • Once the User's order has been confirmed, payment will be made directly to the company responsible for the specific HONEST GREENS restaurant indicated in the Legal Notice.
6. Right of withdrawal and returns
  • Exception: In accordance with Article 103 TRLGDCU, there shall be no right of withdrawal in contracts for the supply of perishable goods, goods made to the consumer's specifications or goods that are liable to deteriorate rapidly (e.g. prepared food, hot drinks).
  • For non-perishable products (gift cards, merchandising), the User has 14 calendar days to exercise the right of withdrawal without justification.
  • In the event of a valid return, the refund will be made using the same payment method used, unless the User expressly accepts another method (e.g. credit in the App).
7. Refund and compensation policy
  • Within the first 24 hours of purchase: refund via the original payment method.
  • After this period: credit to the App's digital wallet, vouchers or invitations, as applicable.
8. Liability

HONEST GREENS and HONEST GREENS companies shall be liable for the correct delivery of orders. However, the limitations of liability shall not exclude or restrict the inalienable legal rights of consumers, nor shall they apply in cases of gross negligence or wilful misconduct.

9. User Conduct

The User undertakes not to use the App and WebApp of the Websites for illegal purposes or in a manner contrary to these Terms and Conditions (fraud, impersonation, sending spam, etc.).

10. Promotions, loyalty programmes and gift cards

Promotions shall be subject to the specific conditions indicated in each case. Loyalty programmes, vouchers or gift cards:

  • They will not be refundable for cash unless expressly stated.
  • May have specific expiry dates and limitations as indicated in the App.
  • Will comply with advertising and commercial promotion regulations.

Only promotional codes redeemed through the App or another official HONEST GREENS channel enabled for this purpose will be valid. The specific company that owns the HONEST GREENS restaurant may apply discounts or special offers at its discretion.

Promotional codes must be used in accordance with the law, these Terms and Conditions and, where applicable, the Specific Conditions indicated in the App and WebApp of the Websites.

Promotional codes, discounts or offers of any kind may not be duplicated, sold or made available to the public, unless expressly permitted in the corresponding Specific Conditions.

Unless otherwise stated in the relevant Specific Conditions, promotional codes will expire 90 days after their issue.

In the event of a conflict between these General Terms and Conditions and the Specific Terms and Conditions applied to a specific promotion or offer, the Specific Terms and Conditions indicated in the App alongside the promotion/offer in question shall prevail.

LOYALTY PROGRAMME (CHALLENGES). – HONEST GREENS implements a programme of challenges through the App, whereby for each purchase of products indicated in the App and WebApp of the Websites at any given time, Users will receive a stamp for each category of product purchased. By accumulating these stamps, Users can then redeem them for a free product from the same category once they have collected the number of stamps indicated in the App and WebApp of the Websites. The specific conditions for redeeming stamps will be indicated in the App itself at any given time in a section entitled "More Information" or similar. HONEST GREENS reserves the right to exclude certain products and services from the Challenge Programme and to limit the conditions applicable to the programme. Stamps are only generated for orders placed through the Websites, App and WebApp Services, excluding orders placed with third-party platforms (e.g. Glovo, Just Eat, Deliveroo). You must be registered on the Websites, App or WebApp by creating a user account. Participation in the Loyalty Programme and the stamps accumulated are non-transferable, limited to one participation per user and account registered on the Websites, App and WebApp.

INVITE A FRIEND.- Users will have a unique and personal code ("Guest Code") linked to their User account that they can share with third parties ("Guest Friend") as an invitation to join the Websites, App and WebApp. When the Invited Friend enters the Guest Code during the registration phase, they will generate points for themselves and for the User who invited them, which can be spent on future purchases and orders made through the Websites, App and WebApp. You can see more details here.-> https://www.hg.uk/loyalty-program/

GIFT CARDS.- This feature allows the User to transfer or give to other users, or to any third party (who must download and register on the Websites, App or WebApp), a certain amount of credit that the User has in their account. The gift card will only be available on the Websites, App and WebApp and, specifically, the User may give the gift card with the credit they decide to give away using a unique code provided by the Websites, App and WebApp.

The remaining credit on the gift card can be checked at any time via the Websites, App and WebApp. Gift cards do not expire and no inactivity or service fees will be applied to such gift cards. Gift cards cannot be exchanged for the purchase of another gift card or for previously purchased goods or services. Furthermore, gift cards have no cash value and cannot be redeemed for cash, but they can be reloaded through the App, so that if the resulting credit amount is insufficient to make a purchase, it can be reloaded with the amount desired by the User, thus allowing the credit amount to be used up. HONEST GREENS reserves the right to refuse any Gift Card in the event that payment for it is unsuccessful.

Only gift cards generated through the use of the Websites, App and WebApp or any other channel specifically enabled by HONEST GREENS for this purpose shall be valid. Gift cards cannot be replaced or refunded in the event of loss, theft or damage. If the User suspects that someone has copied or stolen their gift card, they should send an email to hello@hg.uk immediately. HONEST GREENS reserves the right to refuse the gift card when it is suspected that it has been obtained fraudulently.

11. Communications

HONEST GREENS and HONEST GREENS companies may communicate with the User via calls, SMS text messages or similar technology, provided that there is a legal basis for such data processing.

Within the limits of mandatory regulations, these communications may be sent or initiated by HONEST GREENS or any of its service providers, such as when we send text messages to the User to confirm, process and notify the User of the status and collection location of an order placed by the User with HONEST GREENS, to provide the User with a receipt, or for any customer service, account-related or marketing purposes, all in accordance with the Privacy Policy.

The User may manage their consent to stop receiving messages in the specific section of the Websites, App and WebApp for notifications from their profile, requesting to unsubscribe from the notification service through the mechanisms enabled in each communication, or by sending an email with the User's request, telephone number and email address to hello@hg.uk. HONEST GREENS will send a message to the User to confirm that the request to unsubscribe from communications has been received and dealt with in accordance with the mandatory regulations.

Please note that calls between the User and HONEST GREENS staff and HONEST GREENS companies may be recorded to ensure service quality and to meet any legal obligations. For more information, please refer to the Privacy Policy.

12. Customer service and complaints

We want the User's experience with HONEST GREENS and HONEST GREENS companies to always be positive. If any problems arise with the order or with our services, we encourage the User to contact us first to try to resolve it directly and as quickly as possible.

If we are unable to resolve it together, the User may also resort to alternative dispute resolution (ADR) methods, such as mediation or arbitration. These processes are designed to be faster, simpler and less costly than going to court.

  • Maximum response time: 30 working days.
  • In the event of a dispute that cannot be resolved directly with HONEST GREENS and/or the corresponding HONEST GREENS company detailed at the beginning of the Legal Notice, the User may contact official dispute resolution bodies:

 European Consumer Centres (ECC-Net), which offer free assistance to consumers in cross-border disputes within the European Union (EU) and associated countries

 Officially recognised national alternative dispute resolution (ADR) bodies.

The User can consult the list of ADR bodies operating in the EU and associated countries through the official website of "Consumer Redress in the EU": https://consumer-redress.ec.europa.eu/dispute-resolution-bodies

Unlike the EU, the United Kingdom has not established a mandatory centralised online platform for consumer dispute resolution. Today, alternative dispute resolution (ADR) continues to operate through independent mechanisms, typically within specific sectors or on a voluntary basis. To this end, and although HONEST GREENS and/or the corresponding HONEST GREENS company are not obliged to submit to a specific ADR procedure in the United Kingdom, they will provide the User with information about a recognised ADR entity that can handle their complaint, including in the United Kingdom (e.g. "Centre for Effective Dispute Resolution – CEDR"- https://www.cedr.com/consumer/- or "Ombudsman Services" - https://www.ombudsman-services.org/- or "RetailADR: - https://www.retailadr.org.uk-), even if HONEST GREENS or such HONEST GREENS company decides not to participate outside the European Union. The User may also resolve their dispute through other methods of Non-Court Dispute Resolution (NCDR), promoted by the courts of the United Kingdom, before initiating any legal action, and we therefore encourage Users to consider these options before going to court. Ultimately, disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales without prejudice to mandatory consumer rights.

13. Contractual modifications

HONEST GREENS may modify these Terms with 15 days' notice. Substantial changes will require the User's express acceptance. In the event of non-acceptance, the User may cancel their account without penalty.

14. Use of artificial intelligence (AI) systems

Certain features of the App and WebApp may be automated using artificial intelligence (AI) technologies, such as personalised recommendations, chat support or consumption pattern analysis.

In any case, there is always human supervision and no exclusively automated decisions are made that produce legal or significant effects for the User, in accordance with the GDPR and Regulation (EU) 2024/1183 (AI Act).

15. Data protection

Personal data will be processed in accordance with the Privacy Policy and the Cookies Policy and as detailed in the other Legal Texts available on the Websites, App and WebApp, guaranteeing the exercise of the rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability and objection in accordance with the GDPR and Data Protection Act 2018 and other rights relating to the Data Act and Data (Use and Access) Act 2025 (DUAA) and electronic and consumer contracts, as well as Artificial Intelligence, as detailed in these Legal Texts.

16. Applicable legislation and jurisdiction

These Terms shall be governed by the applicable legislation according to the location of the contracted HONEST GREENS company:

(i) Spain → courts of Barcelona for HONEST GREENS Barcelona S.A.

(ii) France → courts of Paris for the Paris restaurant.

(iii) United Kingdom → courts of England and Wales for the London restaurant, with access to ADR/NCDR, without prejudice to the Consumer Rights Act 2015.

In any case, if the User acts as a consumer, the legislation and courts of their habitual residence shall prevail when this provides them with greater protection.

For B2B relationships, the parties submit to the courts of the registered office of the contracted company HONEST GREENS, expressly waiving any other jurisdiction.

17. Acceptance of the Terms

Registration and use of the App implies express acceptance of these Terms and Conditions. If the User does not agree, they must refrain from using the App.

18. Accessibility

HONEST GREENS guarantees that its App, WebApp and Websites comply with Web Accessibility Guidelines, ensuring access for people with disabilities.
